Mitch founded Metro Paving Corporation in 1994 which has come to be the brand name for quality work in the DC Metropolitan Area. With his  30+ years of experience he oversees the company's overall performance and ensures all financial goals are meeting expectations.

Manny Rodrigues


Vice President/Owner


Manny has been working for Metro Paving Corporation since  1996  and he has been the driving force behind Metro Paving's history of exellence. Manny's 30+ years of experience and expertise is highlighted when MPC tackles large and complex projects . His involvement in the day-to-day business operations ensures Metro Paving operates seamlessly.


Joshua Otero

Project Manager

Josh began working for Metro Paving Corporation part-time while studying at Salisbury University from 2012-2014. In 2017 Josh joined Metro Paving full time as an assistant project manager and assisted on several of the major projects. In 2018 he was promoted to project manager after successfully completing these projects on time and on budget and receiving a certificate in Project Management from Georgetown University. In addition, he is now involved with and oversees projects while assisting in the overall MPC back office operations to ensure the company is running smoothly.

Victor Antunes

Project Manager


Victor brings to Metro Paving over 25+ years of managing organizations, building client relationships, procurement and management of contracts and leading teams across all phases of heavy civil, site and building construction in the government and commercial sectors.  He manages projects of varying scale with public (Federal, State and Municipal) and private clients across Virginia, Maryland and the District of Columbia.  Victor is focused on delivering the highest quality outcomes by managing efficiency and productivity to ensure business development and success is achieved.

David Laviolette Jr.

Project Manager / Estimator

Dave has been working on Site/Civil construction in the DC Metro Area projects for the last 20+ years.  Dave’s experience with projects large and small has added great value as a Project Manager and as an Estimator.  He has worked with multiple Department of Transportations, Federal Facilities and private projects.  He values Calculated Growth through Partnering, Teamwork, Quality of Work and the importance of schedules.

Ricardo Rodrigues

Superintendent

 

Ricardo began working with MPC in 2012. He is a reliable and safety-oriented Supeintendent with over 8+ years of experience. He specializes in overseeing projects which includes Department of Transportations, Federal Facilities and private projects. Ricardo's responsibilities include overseeing and scheduling more than 12 company crews and coordinating with multiple subcontractors in different job sites, machinery tracking and maintenance.

Christian Cordova

Superintendent/Project Manager / Estimator

 

Christian has been working on Site/Civil construction in the DC Metro Area projects for the last 19+ years .

Christian's experience varies  from small to large projects with diffrent state and federal agencies . 

Wardell R. Brown

Safety  Manager

 

Wardell has more than 10+ years of experience in the field of safety. Wardell  joined MPC in 2012 and has dealt with various aspects of the safety department and developing a strong culture of safety throughout the company. MPC’s safety department has worked to develop not only the company’s safety programs, but also its subcontractor’s programs by supplying training and consulting. 

Tobie C. Whitted

Warehouse Manager

 

Tobie  manages the warehouse aspect of MPC projects. Tobie keeps an accurate accounting  of expentable items and materials used on job sites.

Antonio Claro

Senior Superintendent

 

Tony brings more than 35+ years of roadway construction, concrete paving and utility work experience to the team at Metro Paving Corporation. He specializes in overseeing multiple projects in multiple locations, such as Department of Transportations, Federal Facilities and private projects. Tony's responsibilities include overseeing and scheduling more than 12 company crews and coordinating with multiple subcontractors in different job sites, machinery tracking and maintenance. 

Manuel Lopes

Shop Manager

 

Manuel began working with MPC in 2002.  He is an experienced 25+ years Mechanic/Shop Manager.He ensures that MPC fleet is up and runing  to support all  ongoing projects. 

Addie Rodrigues

H.R., ACC.P., Office Manager

 

Addie  began working with MPC in 1997. Addie is an experienced business administrator with a demostrated history of working in the construction industry. From managing account payables , insurance benefits and all aspects of human resources, 

She is the  point of contact in the company for all business needs.

Viviana Otero

Controller

 

Viviana began working with MPC in 2017. Viviana’s responsibilities include managing accounting and monitoring internal controls, producing internal financial statements, providing information to external auditors and doing bank reconciliations. She also provides certified payrolls for Government contracts and runs payroll for MPC’s own employees. Before working at MPC she had experience in budgeting and acquiring federal funding for projects in Colombia.

Cristina Camacho

Administrative Assistant


Cristina began working with MPC in 2017 as an administrative assistant and reception at front of house. Being the first person you will most likely speak with or see when visiting MPC she always does her best to give people a warm welcome with her professional demeanor, while pointing MPCs clients and visitors in the right direction for the answers they seek. She also assists with keeping things in order in back of house while coordinating with her colleagues.
